Did you check calling them up ?
Not sure, but the place is nice
We had wonderful service both times we wrre there. Good solid food. Not fancy, just hood.
There was one waiter and he was AMAZING!! People where coming and going, he made sure we never went without anything, and handled everything so smoothly. He was the host, the waiter and the busser all in one and made it look effortless. 🙌
I arrive at this special place from time to time since I like the special air that is part of this restaurant. The staff is extremely attentive and qualified. The service is absolutely fast. Not to mention, the food they serve is outstanding. I ate there many times and I was always pleased. The pay is honest. I recommend this place to to everybody.
We were staying next door at the King George hotel and used the Mason Street diner for breakfast and evening meals for five days. The service was excellent and had coffee top ups which was nice as we're not used to that sort of thing back in England. We loved every meal we had and served by really nice friendly staff and the strawberry milk shake was to die for, wow. We were there the last week of May this year and would definitely recommend it to anybody and will return again ourselves.
Love this place even if it is in tourist central. The eggs, hash browns are def comfort food at its best. Only been here during the mornings but def better than some other diners.
Bit expensive restaurant with decent menu. Tuna melt Sandwich was average. Pasta was good. Great service by waiter. He recommended the dishes we need to try. For Breakfast poached eggs were very good.
The restaurant wasn't crowded at all, easy to find a table. Service was ok. Food was good, but we had to wait for a while. The place was clean, near the city center, open 24h! Easy to get there.
In the heart of theatre district, nice place for a lunch. Fair sized booths. Good food. Nothing fancy per see where you get handed a wine list. Better than a Denny's. Don't expect candles.
Really nice, clean diner. As soon as you are seated coffee is offered which is nice. The food was lovely, and great options for toasts and substitutions. We ate there twice during our three days in the city and weren't disappointed either time. Their hash browns are lovely and the option of a fruit bowl instead is great. A nice sized bowl with a good selection of fruit. They also do perfectly poached eggs.
Popped in for breakfast twice while visiting San Francisco. Both times had the sausage and eggs breakfast. Came with option of fruit bowl or hash browns. The hash browns were my favourite style (shredded) and the fruit bowl was a decent size with an assortment of melons, strawberries, grapes and kiwi. All fruits were very flavourful. Service was excellent considering how busy they were. Appreciated them checking to make sure everything was good. Prices were reasonable for being downtown. Highly recommend a visit.
Perfect for a late night craving. It's a dining place open 24/7. They have EVERYTHING. We tried the sandwiches and we loved them. We also ordered Ceaser salad with grilled chicken which was amazing. They have all sorts of food.
This place is amazing check out the pictures of our eggs Benedict. They taste as good as the look. Georgina was wonderful. This place is also open 24 hours a day stop by after a night on the town and have a early breakfast.
Last minute walk in for me with having breakfast here. So glad that I did! Once I was seated, coffee was served and order was taken. Food arrived in a timely manner and was a great ðŸ‘🽠satisfying portion. Kudos to Pepe and the team.
I happen to be in the area and wanted to get a bite to eat t a sit in restaurant. Ordered the linguine pescatore and it was outstanding. It’s a nice spot to get some food. Family friendly environment.
The breakfast was great, bacon was delicious. The problem is the sloooow service. We waited for 40 minutes for Max the waiter to serve our breakfast. Not that it is his fault, the restaurant has a very few numbers of waiters serving.
Good hamburger. Excellent cheese cake!
We stopped by Mason diner for an early dinner and enjoyed our experience there. Good food good service and close to the hotel we're staying at.
Great family diner. Friendly staff. Delicious food. Had breakfast as well as late night dinner. Both were great.
I had the best time at this diner! We went with a group of friends, I asked for the chicken and chips and was really good and well served. The service was also great, I needed to charge my phone but there weren’t any plugs so the waiter friendly told me that they can charge my phone at the balcony. They’re open 24h and have great food (options for breakfast, lunch or dinner at any time) at a reasonable price, for me it was totally worth it!
Good place for a quick bite. Crab cake and pasta are nice.
Busy place. Friendly and attentive wait staff. Eggs Benedict and omelets were delectable.
Traditional American Diner with traditional American taste that is very good... very nice staff... will definitely visit again when in San Fransisco...
I had the chicken piccata with the rice, broccoli and carrots. The rice was fluffy but not mushy, the other veggies were steamed just right. Prices were very reasonable for San Francisco. Open 24 hours, 7 days per week. I don't know how I missed it all these years but I will be back if I'm in that area.
Love this place. Stayed at the Hilton for few nights and dined here quite a bit.. food is lovely, staff are friendly and it's not overly expensive.. I'll especially miss the breakfasts!!
This is a great little restaurant. Calling it a "diner" doesnt do justice to the extensive menu, with many dishes displaying a Mediterranean flair. The service can't be beat. And although SF can be kind of pricey, this place isn't. Note their online menu is far from complete. They have a lot more that's not listed.
Nice place for breakfast, just a little tiny for more than 5 people but it’s ok. Good a big food.
I was going to give 5 stars, as the food was excellent. But I've been waiting 20 minutes for the server to bring my check after I finished dessert. Too bad. Other than that, I thought it was a great value for San Francisco. Edit - after 30 minutes of witing for a check, I'm leaving without paying.
This sandwich had a LOT of turkey on it I loved it! The fries were good too👠Very good timing as well. We had a great friendly waiter as well. Unfortunately I just hated that they didn't have sweet tea 😞
What a great little diner! If you are looking for good American breakfast then go to Mason Diner. Food is fairly priced and not greasy or salty. Also great 60s music in the background.
Within walking distance of the Hilton and Nikko hotels, their breakfast options are varied and good. Service was friendly and prompt. And, the coffee was great.I'll definitely return. Highly recommended.
Solid food and friendly service. At times a little slow, and there was a funky smell I couldn't quite place (but I think that was coming from outside).
Very good breakfast. My banana, pecan, wheat pancakes were perfect. My wife loved her croissant french toast (and she can be picky). Plus fresh fruit. We recommend if you are in the Union Square section of SF.
